Water recycling, groundwater recovery, and innovation in water-saving devices, technologies, and strategies bring greater water supply reliability to Southern California. Metropolitan supports the development and use of recycled water and recovered groundwater by providing incentives to local agencies through the Local Resources Program. Metropolitan encourages innovation by providing competitive grants through the Innovative Conservation Program. They address regional funding needs for actions that reduce barriers to future water resource production through their Future Supply Actions Funding Program.
