Annual Report Highlights Metropolitan's Accomplishments

During the 2019-20 fiscal year, Metropolitan's accomplishments included the opening of the Regional Recycled Water Advanced Purification Center, amassing the largest year-end water storage in the district's history, and our swift and effective response to the pandemic. Metropolitan Releases Annual Achievement Report to the California State Legislature
Despite unprecedented operational challenges last fiscal year (2019-20), we made significant achievements for our local resource portfolio, investing more than $43 million in conservation, recycling and groundwater recovery programs - bringing the total cumulative investment to $1.5 billion since 1990.
