Len Gagliano is the assistant general auditor for Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the region's major water importer and wholesaler.
Gagliano brings over 25 years of information technology, information security, business continuity, auditing, and risk management experience to Metropolitan.
His responsibilities include reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of business activities performed by Metropolitan’s organizational groups and providing reports on the effectiveness of internal controls, the accuracy of records, the reliability of information, and the safeguarding of assets.
Prior to Metropolitan, Gagliano was vice president and Information Risk Manager at Fidelity National Financial. He also served as vice president and manager of Information Technology Audit and Business Continuity at Bank of the West.
Gagliano earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in education from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri and has a computer science degree from the Control Data Institute in Anaheim, California. He is certified as an Information Security Manager, Business Continuity Professional, and Risk Professional.
