Member: Business and Finance Committee; Water Planning and Stewardship Committee; Engineering and Capital Programs Committee; IRP Steering Committee; and the Special Committee on Bay-Delta.

Water industry affiliations:

Elected to the MWDOC board in November 2000, Bakall currently chairs the MWDOC Board's Planning and Operations Committee.

Professional and community activities:

A practicing consultant civil engineer in the private practice, Bakall serves as a Commissioner on the Santiago Aqueduct Commission and is vice president of the Water Advisory Committee of Orange County. He is also a member of the American Water Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Works Association and the Orange County Water Association.
