Member: Water Quality and Operations Committee; Communications and Legislation Committee; and the Hoover Contract Issues Committee.

Water industry affiliations:

Little first became active in water issues when he worked to annex Culver City into the West Basin MWD service area in the early ‘50s.  From 1965 to 1967, he served on the County Resources and Reclamation Advisory Commission.  Little has been a member of the West Basin MWD board of directors since 1989.

Professional and community activities:

Little formerly operated Ed Little Auto Service, Inc. the family owned business he founded in 1951.  He served on the Culver City Council from 1966 to 1970, and was the city’s first representative to the newly formed Southern California Association of Governments.  Active in numerous charitable and civic groups, he served on the Board of the Culver Palms YMCA for 15 years and is a member of the Culver City Rotary Club, of which he is past president.  He was recognized as citizen of the year in 1965 by the Culver City Chapter of Jewish War Veterans and received the Culver City Chamber of Commerce’s 1992 Outstanding Business of the Year Award. 

Little resides in Culver City with his wife Helen. Together they have five children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
