Water industry affiliations:

Owner and Principal of Morris Water Resources Consultants, Morris has been professionally involved with the water industry for more than 40 years. He serves on the boards of the U. S. Desalination Coalition as Vice-Chair and the Water Environment Federation where he also serves as Vice-Chair of their Committee Leadership Council. Morris previously chaired the Water Desalting Committee of the American Water Works Association, the Water Reuse Committee of the Water Environment Federation, the Water Reuse Subcommittee of the Association of California Water Agencies, the Water Issues Committee of the Southern California Association of Publicly Owned Treatment Works, as well as the Reclamation Reuse Task Force of the State Water Conservation Coalition. He also served as a director of the National Water Research Institute, the South Orange County Reclamation Authority, the California Water Environment Association and as a Founding Director of the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc. He is active in the WateReuse Association, Colorado River Water Users Association, Southern California Water Utilities Association and the Orange County Water Association.

Professional and community activities:

He is a former member of the Water Advisory Committee and a former Planning Commissioner for the city of San Marino. Morris is an active member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association and has served as a member of the San Marino City Club Board of Directors including as President in 2005. He is a civil engineering graduate of the University of Southern California and is the incoming President-Elect of the Los Angeles Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
