Member: Engineering and Capital Programs Committee; Water Planning and Stewardship Committee; and the IRP Steering Committee.

Professional and community activities:

A fifth-generation San Jacinto native, Randy Record has been active in the farming community for over three decades growing vegetables, hay and grain crops as well as citrus and wine grapes.  A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1976, Randy holds a B.S. in Agricultural Management continuing his education in irrigation management. 

Mr. Record is a seven year member of the Eastern Municipal Water District Board and served a two-year term as Board President.  He also serves as the EMWD representative to the Board of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, is President of the Hemet San Jacinto Action Group, a member of the Board of directors of the Bank of Hemet, past chairman of the Riverside County Water Task Force, and a member of the Western Growers Association and the California Alfalfa and Forage Association.

Randy has been married to his wife Anne McCauley Record, a San Jacinto school teacher, for 28 years.  They have two grown daughters, Tricia and Mindy, also graduates of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with degrees in agriculture and both currently employed in the wine industry
