Professional and community activities:

A fifth-generation San Jacinto native, Randy Record has been active in the farming community for over three decades.  A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1976, Randy holds a B.S. in Agricultural Management continuing his education in irrigation management. 

Mr. Record is an eight year member of the Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) Board and served a two year term as Board President. He also serves as the EMWD representative to the Board of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, serving as vice-chair on their Real Estate and Asset Management Special Committee. Mr. Record also serves as President of the Hemet San Jacinto Action Group, a member of the Board of directors of the Bank of Hemet, past chairman of the Riverside County Water Task Force, member of The Monday Morning Group, and Chairman of the Association of California Water Agencies' Federal Affairs Committee.

Randy has been married to his wife Anne McCauley Record, a San Jacinto school teacher, for 28 years. They have two grown daughters, also graduates of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with degrees in agriculture and both currently employed in the wine industry.

Re-elected to the EMWD board in 2008, Mr. Record's next term expires in January 2013.
