Professional and community activities:

An economics and business consultant, Wunderlich is a founding principal of Discovery Economics, Inc., a Los Angeles-based consulting firm specializing in economics, finance and accounting for business and legal issues. 

Prior to co-founding Discovery Economics in 1999, he consulted regarding similar issues at the economics consulting firm LECG and the accounting and professional services firm Deloitte & Touche.  Earlier in his career, Wunderlich worked as a scientist and engineer related to energy and environmental issues. 

Wunderlich earned a master of business administration degree with emphasis in finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, a doctorate degree in chemical physics and a master’s degree in physics from Harvard University, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with secondary emphasis in English from Columbia University, and is a registered professional chemical engineer in the State of California. 

He is an active supporter of Bet Tzedek, a provider of free legal assistance to more than 10,000 people of every racial and religious background.  Wunderlich and his wife, Andrea Spatz, a financial planner, reside in Beverly Hills with their son and daughter.
