Webinar Pre-Bid Conferences Available
In an effort to maintain Metropolitan’s commitment to sustainability, we are offering a “green” alternative to attending pre-bid conferences in person. Selected pre-bid and pre-proposal conferences are now available in webinar format.  Each solicitation will indicate whether the webinar format is available and provide the procedure and deadline for signing up.  The cost to participate by webinar is $79 per connection.  For additional information and assistance, please contact Metropolitan's provider of this service, Green Proposals, at 310-472-1811 or info@greenproposals.com.

This bid system allows all vendors easy online access to Bids, RFP's, RFQ's, Addendums and bid results. All interested vendors must register to access this information. If you need assistance when registering, please contact NETConnect. NETConnect provides all technical and customer support for this system and will be happy to assist you.

The Metropolitan Water District has over 300 million dollars in construction contracts at any one time. Project sizes range from large to small and may cover anything from the large scale construction of a water treatment plant to the rehabilitation of a facility roof.

Metropolitan advertises construction contracts to be bid in the Dodge Green Sheet and the L.A. Daily Journal. Contracts over $25,000 must be competitively bid.

Construction contract solicitations generally require that prime contractors attend a mandatory pre-bid conference.  Subcontractors are not required to attend.  Metropolitan will not consider a bid from any bidder not represented at a pre-bid conference. Webinar broadcasts of mandatory pre-bid conferences are currently not available for construction contracts.
