Professional and community activities:
Elected to the Upper San Gabriel Municipal Water District board in 1990, Dr. Anthony Fellow helped establish the district’s first water recycling program, conservation education programs, and a reforestation project in the Angeles National Forest.
He is currently the agency’s representative for the Main San Gabriel Basin Watermaster and contributed to the formation of the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority. He also serves as president of the San Gabriel Valley Discovery Center.
Fellow is a 35-year communications professor at California State University, Fullerton, where he received a master’s degree in communications. He also holds master’s and doctorate degrees in communications from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and history from California State University, Los Angeles. A Fulbright Scholar, he was assigned to Italy’s Vercelli University.
Fellow was elected to the El Monte City Council in 1996 and he served for nine years. In 2007 he was elected to the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees, where he has served as president of the board.
He and his wife, Clara Potes-Fellow, reside in Arcadia.
