Professional and community activities:

Michael Camacho was first elected to Inland Empire Utilities Agency's Board of Directors in 2008. He chairs the agency's Engineering, Operations and Water Resources Committee, and is a member of its Community and Legislative Affairs Committee. He also serves as an alternate for its Finance and Administrative Committee and Audit Committee.

He serves as IEUA's alternative representative to the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority Commission, Southern California Water Coalition, Association of California Water Agencies, and the California Association of Sanitation Agencies.
